# Contribution & recognition in the commons

Here we invite discussion around the practice of contribution accounting in [meet.coop](http://meet.coop). Contribution accounting means identifying contributions of all kinds, by all kinds of members, and giving appropriate recognition to contributions: in payment (livelihood work) and in other appropriate ways (including recognising gift work).
