As a Tutoring Platform

This can potentially create a stable income stream.

We can create a platform on which tutors can charge students lessons fees and our platform will take 5% admin fee or something.

My brother does tutoring for living and he told me there is a lot of people in Japan who would love to take private English lessons.

The subject could be anything and I am sure there will be plenty of people who would do so without money (This is not tutoring but I have weekly pair programming sessions with my partner - there is no money involved. But my American wife told me once if she were teach English she would need to get paid!)

But I think this could be an attractive “baseload” business

Creating a platform for tutors to charge lesson fees sounds like a great idea. It could definitely provide a stable income stream. Japan has a high demand for private English lessons, so there’s potential there. And offering a variety of subjects, even some without money involved, can attract a diverse user base.
