thanks, @Graham for sharing this feedback. I’m sorry that no one replied before. Given that you report these issues on the very first days of the demo server, I’m not sure whether they still apply. Last week the Alpha stage production server went life (ca.meet.coop) and was used for the OpenCoop 2020 Conf. It’d be good to check out the user feedback on that one. There is a Open2020 Lessons Learnt thread that may be of interest.
