Mike Hales (@mikemh), who has been actively involved in meet.coop since the early days, is leading the set up of the Community.circle and the community programme.
The Community.circle itself is distinct from the operational circles, and is expected to be a space run for and by user members mainly. Running the community programme is something that requires the commitment and participation of many people and organisations. Being its lead person is however worth considerable time by one person and that should be reflected with operational membership.
As operational member he would be more effective, having access to the internal communication channels of operations, and his contributed work would be valued more properly, which is especially important as lead person.
Mike has noted that he’s not expecting financial compensation in the compensation framework; if there would be mutual credits to be earned that might be of interest to him.
