Hello all!
Quite some people (most working for government administrations around Europe) I meet with using BBB / meet.coop experience problems enabling their microphone and webcam. They can enter the room, but their browsers (not sure which ones) don’t connect to audio or video.
Yesterday suddenly I had similar problems when Brave (which I normally use BBB in without any problems) also did not connect to mic nor cam. An error occurred, similar to the one in this topic (though not 100% sure if it was 1007 error): Audio&Video connection errors
A reinstall of Brave fixed the issue, weirdly. FireFox worked fine at the time I was having these problems in Brave.
This doesn’t fix the fact that I can’t seem to use BBB in many of my meetings, sadly. Many people can’t turn on their mics and webcams and get error notifications.
What could be the problem here? I know it’s hard to say given the lack of info about the systems and browsers my contacts are using but I saw the earlier topic and thought maybe the coop knows.
(One possible option is that overly secure systems and firewalls are blocking things on the gov administration side, this happens sometimes. But i have never had so many people in one week and from different countries being unable to connect (Spain, NL, Germany so far)
