Allocation of the balance and handover of meetcoop to the new stewards

Proposal

Given the current phase, where meet.coop was stewarded by up to a dozen of cooperative entities in Europe and North America and is handed over to the new leadership or stewardship formed by webTV and Innovation.coop, we need to decide what to do with the reserve funds that we have built up in the OpenCollective account.
We propose to dedicate the reserve to three categories:

  1. to the operational members who have been ill compensated in these first three years, 2020-2023, as a delayed payment of their wages;
  2. to the evolution team members who made it happen to transfer and land meet.coop safely in new and safe hands, as a token of appreciation for their important work;
  3. to the new stewards, as a dowry to invest in the ongoing building up of meet.coop,
    and with the distribution as is defined in the attached PDF.

Anything that is not claimed by the beneficiaries as proposed within a period of six weeks after validation of this proposal, is left in the OC balance and thus added to the dowry for the next stewards of meet.coop.

Thanks to all seven of you voting in favour and one ops member from the 2020-2022 period apparently not feeling himself inclined to vote, but instead adding a like, we should conclude that the proposal is approved. I added the “approved” tag to it.

Now all parties mentioned with an allocated budget in the proposal have 6 weeks to present their claim to our OpenCollective. Anything that is not claimed by the beneficiaries as proposed within a period of six weeks after validation of this proposal, is left in the OC balance and thus added to the dowry for the next stewards.
